ISWA 2015 TAKE-OFF

Only a few days left until we meet in Antwerp for the ISWA 2015 World Congress!

In Antwerp, the main congress venue is the Antwerp City Theatre (Stadsschouwburg), located at Theaterplein 1, Antwerp. The City Theatre is only a 15 minute walk away from the Antwerp Central train station.

Please come to the City Theatre in time to pick up your ISWA 2015 badge! Registration desks open on Monday Sept. 7 at 9:00 AM.

MASTERCLASS WASTE-TO-ENERGY RESCHEDULED

Due to logistic reasons, the date of the training session on Waste-to-Energy has been rescheduled. The masterclass will now be organized on Monday morning September 7th at Plantijn Academy, one of the main venues of the congress, instead of Wednesday morning on location at ISVAG. For more information about the masterclass, click here.

We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you can still participate in this interesting masterclass. We also hope this gives you the opportunity to attend other inspiring sessions on Wednesday morning.

Other training sessions: on Landfilling, on Public-Private Partnerships and special session Hazardous waste cases from around the world.

WORK IN PROGRESS

On Tuesday 8 September at 19h ISWA will organize its annual awards ceremony. This ceremony and reception will take place at the Hilton Hotel. For this occasion, Evy Puelinckx, a Belgian interior designer and architect, specialized in upcycling, is producing wonderful awards from recycled materials. Curious to see the result? Come and join us for the award ceremony.

WM&R COMPETITION

Waste Management & Research (WM&R), the official journal of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), publishes a prestigious World Congress 2015 Special Issue, containing the best papers of the Congress. In the WM&R Special Session at ISWA 2015, the authors of the best papers will present their research.
