Austria from 25-29 April 2016.

SEMINARS & SITE VISITS

The ISWA Study Tour will give an insight into Collection, Sorting and Recycling techniques through a smart combination of seminars on theory and site visits showcasing state of the art practices. Participants will get a theoretical introduction into the scientific and legal needs, opportunities and possible realisation implementation of collection, sorting and recycling of commercial and municipal solid waste.

The technical tours will provide a chance to see different world-leading treatment facilities for materials in operation such as for biological waste, glass, different plastics, metals, electrical & electronic equipment and hazardous waste. A highlight will be the visit to a publicly owned ReUse-company. At the sites the facilities can be studied and discussed directly with the operators.

Participants will be guided by waste management experts during the whole tour. The registration fee covers all transfers, catering and accommodation in Vienna and the picturesque Danube valley.

Also included is the Study-Tour-Handbook to read up on when you return back home.
