We are pleased to announce the 3rd ISWA Beacon International Conference on Final Sinks - from product design to clean cycles and safe final sinks, held in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C on August 23-26, 2015.

The conference is jointly organized by the National Taiwan University, Vienna University of Technology, International Solid Waste Association (ISWA),Chinese Academy of Sciences and Kyoto University.

The ICFS2015 offers a feast of knowledge from both the theoretical and practical management perspectives, is an event not to be missed by academic researchers, government officers, waste management professionals and product manufacturers in the field of environemntal protection and waste management.

About the conference

Final sinks have become a critical issue for sustainable material use. The linear throughputs of materials are depleting resources and are a stress on available sinks. For sustainable materials management, we need a broader understanding and new solutions for the production, management and disposal of harmful and non-recyclable material.
