Waste Management & ResearchWaste Management & Research (WM&R) is a professional peer reviewed journal published monthly under the auspices of ISWA. WM&R publishes articles relating to both the theory and practice of waste and resource management and research. WM&R is dedicated to satisfying the rapidly growing demand for emerging and leading scientific information in the interfaces between resource and waste management, including circular economy and resource-waste economics.

ISWA invites internationally recognized researchers fluent in spoken and written English in the field of waste and resource management and sustainable development with excellent communication and networking skills and experience as editor in chief, as associate editor or member of an editorial board to apply to this open position. Candidates preferably have proven involvement in ISWA activities. The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become the leading representative for academic research within the waste industry on the international scale.

Candidates are sought who can demonstrate excellent editorial and people management skills, with the ability to develop and lead a highly qualified and talented team consisting of 8 Associate Editors and an Editorial Board consisting of 30 professionals. Working with and supported by the Board of ISWA and an International Advisory Board the successful candidate will be required to continue driving the development of this Journal working directly with the publishers, for the next four years, to deliver high quality content to a continually expanding audience.

Remuneration for the position will be in the form of an honorarium based on the experience and the criteria fulfilled by the successful candidate.
