Continuing on from a series of very successful advanced training courses and the internationally outstanding success of the ISWA Study Tours in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 we are now organising the sixth Study Tour on Waste-to-Energy from June 21 to July 01 2015.

This year's Waste-to-Energy Study Tour consists of 2 parts which may either be booked all in one or separately. The first part, June 21 - 26 is more theory based combining expert led seminars with excursions to 7 waste treatment plants in Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. The second part June 27 - July 01 is more practically orientated as 9 additional plants in operation will be visited.

The ISWA Study Tour will take you along to visit waste treatment plants in Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic. You will see and learn about the most remarkable technologies and installations for Waste-to-Energy based on BAT, Best Available Technology, in Europe. This practical seminar on sustainable waste management focuses on advanced resource and energy efficiency, recovery, treatment, and safe intermediate storage of wastes - which allows for diversion of all organic waste exceeding 5 % TOC from landfill.

Participants may join this year's extensive Waste-to-Energy Study Tour from 21 June - July 01 or book either the first part 21 - 26 June with the option of extending the tour until June 27 or the second part June 27 - July 01 individually.

The registration fee includes accommodation, meals and transportation for all visits mentioned in the programme. The number of participants will be limited to a maximum of 25 persons.
