The City of Vienna will host the Walk21 conference from 20 to 23 October 2015 in Vienna City Hall. The conference provides opportunities for a comprehensive discussion of strategies for the promotion of walking and liveable public spaces.

 The conference motto "stepping ahead" promotes activities and innovations towards the future of our resilient cities and healthy living environments. The four main conference themes are:

The Walk21 Vienna 2015 programme will be an exciting mix of interactive presentation formats to encourage and enable a dynamic conference agenda, which will promote collaboration, provide new knowledge and support peer-to-peer learning.
